Our Day Opportunities Services support adults with learning disabilities and is a complex and fast growing provision. You will be responsible for all general support worker duties as required, but with a focus on the creation and delivery of a programme of fun and exciting activities, aimed at supporting people to develop their social connections; improve their health and wellbeing; and to feel safer and more confident in their local communities with a strong emphasis on building independence and facilitating choice. Sessions are delivered both in our centres and out in the community at local amenities, such as leisure centres and parks. You will design sessions for individuals as well as groups.

You will be taking on a varied and engaging role, maintaining our current activities and sessions and working on the creation of new and exciting opportunities for the people we support. There is ample opportunity to be creative and follow through with ideas all the way from conception through to delivery!

We are looking for someone who has a lively and pro-active attitude to work and in return, we can offer you a range of training and development opportunities and ongoing support.
