Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Centre 404 is a friendly, local and thriving charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families in North London.
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and energetic person to join our Adult Learning Disabilities Day Opportunities service. This role has been created as a result of recent expansion and growth of the service both in terms of numbers of attendees and also expansion into other boroughs.
We have exciting aspirations of continuing this expansion and welcome applicants dedicated to helping us achieve our goals in sustainable and continued growth for the service; ensuring we are able to offer quality support to as many people as possible.
You will be responsible for the assessment of new and current attendees and all of the related support planning alongside the delivery of a programme of fun and exciting activities, aimed at supporting people to develop their social connections; improve their health and wellbeing; and to feel safer and more confident in their local communities with a strong emphasis on building independence and facilitating choice. Sessions are delivered both in our centres and out in the community at local amenities, such as leisure centres and parks.
