Centre 404 is a well-established charity with an excellent reputation for providing high-quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families in North London.
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person to join our Day Opportunities team and provide specialist one to one and group support for adults with a learning disability who are accessing daytime activities. The role will involve providing a variety of one to one and group support at our vibrant Centre and out and about in the community, and on some occasions at service user’s homes.
Currently the service runs between 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday, though some flexibility will also be needed in order to meet the needs of the service.
We have the use of the Centre 404 accessible minibus, so applications are encouraged from candidates who hold a clean driving license, preferably with a D1 allowance – though this is not an essential requirement of the role.
This role is part time, 20 hours per week. There are also Bank Support Worker positions within the same service.
Centre 404 is dedicated to staff development and supervision and we will provide a detailed induction and on-going training and support.
We are also committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults at risk and we are looking to recruit people who share these values. All offers of employment are subject to an enhanced DBS check, proof of eligibility to work in the UK and two satisfactory references.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to read the full job description before submitting their applications.
