Salary: £20,514 per annum

Hours: 30 hours per week

Wednesday to Friday – 6 hours per day

Centre 404 is a friendly, local and thriving charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families in North London.

We have a fantastic opening for a Facilities Assistant to join our Central team with a significant focus on providing maintenance services. The post holder will assist the Facilities Manager to provide a safe and efficient environment for staff, service users and stakeholders within our busy community premises.  The post holder will also provide occasional support to the management teams of our other properties across North and East London.

 

In order to provide a seven day a week service, this job is Wednesday to Sunday inclusive with Monday and Tuesday acting as consistent rest days.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on and self-motivated individual keen to start and/or develop a career in the Facilities sector.

 

We are looking for someone with a positive, flexible, hands-on attitude, as well as being solution focused and enjoying being helpful and working as part of a team to achieve shared goals. Candidates will need to be fit to work in a physical role, including working at heights and be confident to use a range of tools for maintenance and decoration work.  They will also need to demonstrate outstanding professional standards and be effective at handling appropriate relationships with a wide range of stakeholders specifically when covering for our reception staff and more generally in everyday interactions in this busy and friendly space.
