Salary: £26,000 per annum

Hours: Full time, 35 per week

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a flexible and resourceful individual to join our Supporting Families Team. This is a small and busy team looking for people who are eager to work positively to help shape and develop new and innovative approaches to support family carers.

The team runs support groups, events and family activities throughout the year. Some of our regular activities include our bimonthly support group for parents of children with Autism and our popular annual pampering day for family carers! Your role involve organising and facilitating some of these groups and events and engage families with the service. You will also provide parents/family carers with information, advice and support around benefits, health and social care, wellbeing and completion of relevant paperwork.

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who can demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to supporting family carers, with an ability to think creatively and good organisational skills to deliver successful activities. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are essential and ideal candidates will also have some experience of delivering group work to vulnerable client groups.
