Salary: £10.75 per hour (£6,987.50 per annum)

Hours: Part time, 12.5 hours per week; Role required from Tuesday to Saturday – mornings; 6:30am start weekdays, later start negotiable on Saturdays. Occasional evenings, weekend and holiday cover may be required, possibility of extra hours.

Centre 404 is a successful local charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families in north London.

We are looking to recruit 3 housekeepers to join our organisation and provide a high standard of cleaning services for our freshly refurbished, busy and well-loved community premises on Camden Road. The premises include activity, catering, and outdoor spaces, as well as staff offices. The post holder will join our other housekeepers to share the daily cleaning duties and cover a monthly schedule of cleaning work around the building.

Hours of work will be predominantly between 6:30am-9am.

Key duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Cleaning activity spaces and meeting rooms, including floors and surfaces.
  • Cleaning and vacuuming offices and emptying bins.
  • Cleaning kitchens and toilets.
  • Replenishing and monitoring cleaning supplies.
  • Covering a rota of daily/weekly/monthly and deep cleaning duties
  • Some lone working and setting /un-setting of security alarm.
  • Light laundry duties.

We are looking for friendly, flexible and reliable individuals to carry out this key function – prior experience of cleaning within a commercial/office setting is desirable, but not essential!
