Hours: 20 hours per week to include Friday afternoon and evening, Saturday and Sunday during the day and Monday mornings.  Various additional shifts are available throughout the week mainly after school finish time and evenings and during school holidays

Centre 404 is a friendly, local and thriving charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families in 6 London boroughs.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced minibus driver with experience of working with people (ideally children) with learning disabilities to join a committed team of professionals at Discovery House, a five bedded house based in Tower Hamlets, providing short break services for young people with autism aged 6-18 years old.

The role will include working with children with a diverse range of support needs, including physical support.  All support will be based on core principles of enabling service users to be valued as individuals.  The successful candidate will drive the Group minibuses and people carriers to and from various locations in a responsible and competent manner, ensuring the safety of the passengers, other road users, members of the public and the post holder at all times he full job description is attached here.

If you have a D1 allowance on your driving license and are able to drive a minibus or have a D1 allowance and are willing to do a short course to be able to then we would like to hear from you!
