Job Title: Positive Behaviour Support Worker – Day Opportunities

Hourly Rate: £12.41 per hour

Hours: Various (Part time, 30 hours per week or bank shifts available which may include some evening, weekend and bank holiday work).

We currently have a number of exciting vacancies to join our Day Opportunities provision as Positive Behaviour Support Workers! These are a set of newly created roles that will focus on delivering person-centred care to a range of people with Autism and behaviours that may challenge, providing support to offer them the best opportunities.

As a Positive Behaviour Support Worker, you will have a chance to be involved in the implementation of support plans and risk assessments, as well as helping respond to triggers for behaviours that may be of concern. You will also provide emotional support to the individuals, promote decision making, facilitate and participate in a range of social and leisure activities and support them to achieve goals and positive outcomes, helping build self-esteem and confidence. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have experience of working with vulnerable client groups, including people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs, and of delivering personalised outcomes for them, improving quality of life and maintaining positive environmental factors.
