Playschemes – Senior Project Worker

Salary: £16,133.00 per annum for 25 hours per week. Hourly rate equivalent is £12.41

Hours: 25 hours (Term time 25hrs admin, Holiday Playschemes 25hrs support)

Hours will be 9.30am to 3.30pm during school holidays while the playschemes are running, so you must be available for these hours.  Hours during term time can be more flexible.

Our Children and Young People Services provide fun, high-quality support for children and young people (CYP) with learning disabilities and/or Autism.

We are keen to talk to enthusiastic, creative and proactive individuals to support and enable children and young people to take part in fun and exciting activities and develop their interests and skills during school holidays at our play schemes run in Islington and Enfield.  The opportunity to build on the experience built during the school holidays while working on these schemes could then be utilised by joining our team of Support Workers providing similarly stimulating support via our day services and after school clubs.

We are looking for candidates who have a proactive approach and are passionate about supporting children and young people to reach their full potential. The role will entail delivery of quality services and program of activities for children and young people with learning disabilities and/or Autism. Candidates should ideally have a minimum of a year of related employment and have experience in a previous supervisory role or be able to highlight examples of supporting management.
