Are you ready for a new career?
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our management team! You will be working across two supported living projects with 26 adults with learning disabilities and additional physical, sensory and communication support needs, and you will be responsible for several teams within these services.
Working alongside the Services Manager, fellow Teams Manager, a team of Senior Support Workers, and a team of support staff, you will provide excellent person-centred care to ensure the tenants’ well-being, enabling independent and fulfilled living. This will involve supporting service users in taking part in a range of meaningful and fun group activities, developing friendships and accessing services, and providing support with all aspects of day-to-day living. This may include working in partnership with family and advocates, where possible and appropriate.
You will contribute to the development of the team and be responsible for encouraging a culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support, providing supervision and clear management to a team of Support Workers. You will also support the team with developing and implementing care plans designed to provide meaningful choice and support to tenants.
The right candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a supervisory role, leading and coaching a team supporting people with learning disabilities or another vulnerable client group. At least 2 years of experience in supporting people with high and complex support needs is also essential. In return, we offer a supportive environment in which people are encouraged to develop their skills as part of a well-established and experienced team of managers.
