Important note regarding Covid-19
We appreciate that during these uncertain times, candidates keen to apply to work with us will want to know what the implications are in terms of how we will continue to recruit. We would like to reassure you that Centre 404 is adapting its recruitment methods to the current situation as we remain committed to hiring great people to join us throughout this challenging time!
Shortlisting will carry on as normal – including on a rolling weekly basis for Support Workers – and we will be carrying out interviews via phone or Skype, ensuring we adhere to government guidelines on minimising contact during this time and keeping Centre 404 staff and candidates safe. Candidates will be advised when invited to interview that this will be held remotely, at a suitable date and time as per our usual procedure.
Please note: Some of our current shift availability may be limited in light of temporary reductions and cancellations for some of our clubs, activity groups and services. As and when lockdown measures are gradually eased, we very much look forward to getting back up and running with these services and welcoming some fantastic new candidates to join them! In the meantime, we are keen to provide alternative shifts in other services and are happy to explore this option with candidates during the recruitment process accordingly.
If you have any queries or concerns about applying to work with us over this period, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at 0207 607 8762 or Recruitment@Centre404.org.uk
Looking for a rewarding and challenging opportunity in social care? Look no further!
We are proud to be part of the government’s Every Day is Different Campaign!
“In adult social care, no two days are the same because supporting people of different ages, with different abilities and needs, means making a difference in all sorts of roles. If you’re the sort of person who treats others with respect, listens to their needs, understands their emotions, and is warm, kind and honest, then social care could be the job for you. Many roles in adult social care are more about experience, values and qualities than qualifications, but you can still develop your skills with on-the-job training or formal qualifications.”
We are keen to hear from candidates who share our values and passion for supporting people with learning disabilities to achieve their goals. So if you are friendly, driven and eager to contribute to a great cause, we may just have the perfect role for you!
We offer a comprehensive induction and relevant training, as well as regular support and ongoing coaching.
Should you have any questions for us regarding recruitment or the application process, please feel free to email us at Recruitment@Centre404.org.uk or call us on 020 7607 8762.
