Are you a parent, carer, guardian, grandparent, foster carer supporting a child or adult with a diagnosis of Autism or waiting for a diagnosis? Join us for ASC for Tea, a support group and opportunity to meet others, share tips and advice, have fun and socialise.
We’ll also be making a festive hot chocolate drink to warm us up on these chilly winter mornings.
Try it out at home before the coffee morning and if your not a fan of hot chocolate you can make your own favourite hot drink to share with the group.
Combine all ingredients except for cream and marshmallows, in a saucepan on a low heat, stirring until it comes to a gentle simmer. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream, mini marshmallows and a sprinkling of cinnamon and your ready to drink.
You will need the following ingredients:
474mls/ 1/3 pint of milk
100g milk chocolate
1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Pinch of ground nutmeg
Pinch of salt

We’ll also be joined by Purple Ella
Purple Ella is a parent and public speaker, her mission in her role is:
- To encourage neurodivergent and disabled people to know that they are enough.
- To prevent suffering by educating everyone about our conditions.
Purple Ella is physically disabled, autistic and has ADHD, she is also a of children with additional needs. As such she has experience of both living with disability and of parenting neurodivergent children. Purple Ella describes herself as passionate about helping to support all disabled people.
