At Centre 404, we’re delighted to celebrate a significant milestone: Sarah, our Head of Independent Living and Specialist Services, has now completed more than a decade with us. Over the years, Sarah has been an integral part of our team, contributing to our mission with unwavering dedication and passion. Her journey reflects not only personal growth but also the remarkable progress of our organisation.
Sarah’s time at Centre 404 has been marked by many achievements and challenges, including navigating the organisation through the unprecedented difficulties of the pandemic. She emphasises how quickly time has flown, largely due to the rewarding nature of her work and the incredible individuals she works alongside. Sarah’s motivation comes from the service users, her amazing colleagues, and the satisfaction of helping others achieve their goals.
Javed started working at Centre 404 in 2014 as a Project Manager for the Mildmay & Outreach Services. He was in this role for until 2018 after which he took on the Quality & Training Manager position.
Javed is now the current Head of Quality and Training at Centre 404. It’s great to see how Javed progressed in his career at Centre 404.

Shillah started out in one of our Housing projects as a Support Worker in 2017. Shillah has progressed to take on roles as Deputy Project Manager and is now our Operations Manager for Independent Living and Specialist Services.
Transitioning from a school environment over to Centre 404 in 2023 into a senior role and later being promoted to a project manager, has been an enriching journey.
The staff work tirelessly to foster a nurturing and supportive environment, enabling us to provide exceptional care. Centre 404’s numerous successes are a testament to teamwork, dedication, and most importantly our deep passion for what we do. The organisation’s commitment to personal and professional development is both encouraging and invaluable.
Our Centre truly feels like a place of belonging. Witnessing the progress and growth of our members is incredibly fulfilling and rewarding. As the saying goes, “Home is where the heart is,” and for the staff, members, and myself, this centre embodies a space filled with empathy, love, and care, our second home.
