‘Eghosa enjoys Centre 404 and looks forward to going. She has made really good friendships with quite a few people. Everyone there puts a smile on her face. She can be herself, which is really important. Everyone accepts her for who she is. This is very important for a child with needs. I am very relaxed when she is there. She is in capable hands. That’s really important for me and her.’

Eghosa

Eghosa has been attending Centre 404 for over a decade, benefiting from our inclusive youth clubs that support young people of different ages and needs.

A friendly and well-liked member of the clubs, Eghosa enjoys baking and is known for her delicious brownies, often shared on Fridays. She takes pride in helping staff with cooking and setting up, and serves as a positive role model for younger service users.

Creative and expressive, Eghosa loves dancing, dressing up, and arts and crafts. She created a beautiful handmade Mother’s Day card and contributed to a fundraising project by making thank you cards for supporters.

Since joining, Eghosa has grown in confidence and independence. Once shy, she now engages more openly with others — making eye contact, starting conversations, and actively participating in group activities. Her progress has been noticed by both her family and support workers. Centre 404 continues to support Eghosa in exploring her talents, building confidence, and celebrating her individuality.
