Marsia

Marysia, lived at one of our supported living service for over 30 years.

Born with profound and multiple learning disabilities and epilepsy, she received consistent, person-centred care that helped her live a full, connected, and joyful life.

With the support of dedicated staff — including her key worker of 20 years — Marysia enjoyed regular activities, holidays, and close friendships. She was known for her humour, warmth, and love of being around others.

Even through bereavement and later health challenges, Marysia was supported with compassion and dignity. When she sadly passed away in 2022, Centre 404 ensured her final wishes, and those of her late mother, were honoured with a traditional Polish funeral — a testament to the deeply personal care she received.

Marysia’s family, both in the UK and abroad, remain grateful for the love and respect shown to her throughout her life and beyond.
