The support has been good.
When Centre 404 took over support in June 2023, Kensley was withdrawn, spent most of his time alone, and struggled with physical health conditions and his mental health.
Through consistent, gentle encouragement, staff got to know Kensley and gradually introduced him to activities he enjoys—like dancing, singing, and social cooking sessions. This tailored approach helped build his confidence without overwhelming him.
Kensley now participates in group activities, socialises with other residents, and takes pride in keeping his flat clean. With support, he’s also made small changes to his diet and has improved in personal care and independence.
His family has noticed these positive changes and are grateful for the support. They’re especially pleased with his increased confidence, communication, and healthier lifestyle.
