Activities aim to enhance travel training, independence skills, budgeting skills, access to the local community, preparation for employment, social wellbeing and most importantly, having fun!
Some activities are based in one of our four locations, while others will be out in the local community.
Inclusion is at the heart of the service and each person has their own weekly timetable based on their goals and interests. Service Users are supported to use public transport where possible to access the Day Opportunities service to increase and encourage independence.
Upon completing college, Rebecca transitioned to day opportunities full time. Her journey has been marked by challenges, progress, and remarkable improvements, demonstrating the positive impact of the support provided by Day Service.
