After-School Clubs

Each group is centred on helping children and young people to achieve positive differences in their lives and provides support from staff and peers to access fun, exciting and developmentally challenging sessions.

Group programmes are designed to include a range of activities and learning opportunities tailored to each member’s abilities and development with a focus on enhancing independence and personal safety, reducing social isolation and cultivating health and positive wellbeing.

Keiran faced behavioural challenges and struggled to follow instructions when he joined Centre 404.

With support from the After-School Clubs, he has made significant progress. He can now express his emotions, communicate effectively, and follow instructions with minimal encouragement.

Mohammed often lacks confidence and finds it challenging to be independent away from his family.

To help him overcome this, Mohammed's support worker created a story about Centre 404, and he and his parents were invited to visit regularly. He also attended after-school clubs and weekend day care until he felt ready for overnight stays
