Job Title: Support Worker – Children’s Residential Respite Service
Service: Children, Young People, Families and Engagement
Salary: £26,674.40 per annum
Hours: 37 hours, rolling shift pattern that must include both Saturday and Sunday availability. Night and day shifts available
Reporting into: Manager – Residential Respite Service

As a Support Worker you’ll get to see the direct impact you are making by offering people with learning disabilities the support they need to enjoy the same rights, freedom, responsibilities, choices and quality of life as others within the wider community.
You will be providing support within our five bedded home in Tower Hamlets, a short break service to young people with Autism aged 6-18 offering residential respite, day-care and after school play sessions and outreach support in a planned way that will best meet the needs of the children and their family.
You will ensure the safety of service users’ health and wellbeing and facilitate engaging activity groups after school hours and at weekends aimed at developing the life skills, confidence and relationship building of the people we support as well as having fun.
