Hours: Bank – ideally 30 hours, Monday-Friday 10am-5pm, Weekend availability

You’ll get to see the direct impact you are making by offering adults of all ages with learning disabilities the support they need to enjoy the same rights, freedom, responsibilities, choices and quality of life as others within the wider community.
As a Support Worker, you will provide support to service users to ensure their safety, health and wellbeing. Duties will include support with day-to-day aspects such as shopping, meals, personal care, and attending appointments, as well as with leisure, social and physical activities, hobbies and personal interests with an emphasis on helping develop skills, confidence and relationships.
Staff profile: Experience is not a requirement as comprehensive training and support will be provided.
Skills: Ability to lone-work with minimum supervision, able to problem solve / think on feet, resourceful with creative ideas for support, good interpersonal skills, effective advocates for people with support needs.
