A workshop for family carers.

The new Coronavirus Act 2020 is making changes to important legislation relating to the Care Act 2014 which will potentially affect how the Local Authority responds to Adult Social Care.

Male Carers Virtual Coffee Morning- Friday 1st May at 10:30 on Zoom

We will be holding a virtual coffee morning for our Male carerr on Zoom. If you are a male carer and have access to a computer or smart phone please feel free to join with a cuppa!

Mindfulness session for parents and children- Monday 4th May at 11am on Zoom

The session plan is as follows:

11am-11:10am – introduction and house rules

11:10am-11:20am – mindfulness session for children aged 7+

11:20am-11:30am – children sharing experiences.

11:30am-11:45am -time for parents to get children settled before their session.

11:45am-12:05pm – mindfulness session for parents.

12:05pm – 12:30pm – sharing experiences of mindfulness and final thoughts.

Workshop for parents and family carers: Mental Health & Wellbeing while working from home

Join us on Zoom on 26th May for an hour in the afternoon

The Peel Institute Charity will be partnering up with Centre 404 to deliver this workshop for parent carers who are currently working from home.

The workshop will cover tips and advice on how to effectively manage time at work while caring for your sons or daughters. It will also cover interactive exercises with tips on how to look after yourself.
