Human Rights Day 2020

On today’s Human Rights Day we want shed light on some of the challenges and inequalities that families supporting a child with learning disability and/or autism we support face as well as the work we do to help them to achieve choice and control over their caring role.

What we are working towards is bridging the gaps between service provision and the needs of people we support. And you can help us do that by:

• Spreading the word, so we can, together, raise as much awareness as possible about the practical and emotional support needed by families supporting a loved-one with a learning disability and/or autism;
• Donating (Let’s think and talk about families supporting loved-ones with a learning disability this Christmas – JustGiving) to help us support more families in 2021;
• Signing up to our e-newsletter from the bottom of Website Homepage to hear more about the work we do and get involved.
