Recruitment Wrap Up – 2019
At Centre 404, we are always looking out for people who wish to make a difference not only in their day to day lives, but also in their jobs and careers! We are a values-based non-profit organisation, promoting independence, equality and inclusion – and keen to find great people with the same values.
In 2019, we attended a variety of different career fairs, events and met a number of organisations to seek out and hire candidates who may not necessarily have experience or qualifications, but have the right values and transferable skills to work with us. We took part in 13 career fairs, introduced ourselves to 14 organisations which support people to get into employment from a range of backgrounds, and visited schools, libraries, community centres and faith groups – we are always proud to be part of our local community!

We also attended career fairs at universities to meet undergraduates, postgraduates and evening students to talk all things Centre 404. It was a pleasure to meet so many like-minded individuals who are looking to contribute to the great cause we dedicate ourselves to!

London Metropolitan University October 2019 – we went to London Met twice – to their Part-time and Graduate Work Fairs!
We also attended the Get Hired event organised by the Prince’s Trust – we liked it so much that we went twice! We had a chance to meet a variety of great people and hear their stories and their ambitions of doing meaningful work and giving back to their communities.
We finished off a busy year with two amazing events at Centre 404 – our Rapid Recruitment Days. They ran in December 2019, which was filled with great people and lots of interest. Our Rapid Recruitment Day was filled with lots of fun – a brief presentation about who we are, what we look for and what we offer – all followed by snacks and networking!
