Salary: £22,401.60 per annum (£14.36 equivalent hourly rate)

Hours: 30 hours per week – Monday to Friday with flexibility on start time and finish time

We are now looking for someone with experience of working with children with a learning disability and/or Autism to take on the role of coordinator for our short breaks programme for children in Camden.

As Camden Short Breaks Coordinator, you will be responsible for the delivery of person-centred home- based and community-based outreach support for children and young people living in the borough, ensuring that our service is of the highest quality and meets all CQC standards and contract requirements.

This role involves line managing a team of support workers and positive behavioural support (PBS) workers, liaising with the local authority and local schools, working in partnership with family carers and CYP to deliver a high-quality service and respite. You will also be responsible for expansion and growth of new business opportunities and further development of the provision, which includes creation of after school club and playscheme programmes.

We are looking for someone who is innovative, organised, with excellent communication skills, and an ability to work on their own initiative as well as contributing positively to a team. They will be able to bring their insight and skills to this new role, with a dynamic, proactive and solutions focused approach.
