The supporting families team have organised a FREE trip to Kew Gardens Wednesday 20th October 2021 at 11AM. This is a first come first served basis, please be advised that there are only 16 tickets available and one ticket per carer. Please kindly note tickets are ONLY available for Adult Carers.
You will have an opportunity to explore the gardens and spectacular autumnal display of colours. You will also have a chance to explore the fascinating plants, art and culture of Japan.
Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota is exhibiting in the Temperate House – The Japanese exhibition and Momijigari Trail around the Gardens is included in the entry.

Wednesday 20th October we’ll be meeting outside the main entrance of Kew Station 11 AM.
Due to heightened risk of Covid we will not be travelling together as a group instead we will meet at Kew Station entrance 11 AM.

Kew Gardens station is 500m from Victoria Gate. It is in Zone 3 and is served by the District Line (Richmond branch) and London Overground.
There is no level access from the westbound platform. It is possible to continue one stop to Richmond and catch a tube back to use the eastbound platform which does have level access.
By bus
Route 65 stops close to Lion Gate, Elizabeth Gate and Victoria Gate.
Route 110 stops near Kew Gardens station and Elizabeth Gate.
Routes 237 and 267 stop at Kew Bridge station.
